Hello there friends! I hope you wore your footy pajamas and grabbed a bowl of cereals, we are watching cartoons today! This week is a Myopia Mornings episode and we watching the classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! It spawned movies (which have reviewed three of), it spawned video games (including one of my favorite arcade consoles) and rebooted itself with the great Rob Paulsen. Radicle! Cowabunga! Reaganomics! Again, Scott, Erin and I trapse through animated bliss and catchy theme songs.

Also, if you see this when it comes out, check me out talking Myopia on ESO this week and on September 7th at Cineprov where I will be riffing on the Incredible Two Headed Transplant!

Hosts: Nic, Scott, Erin

This week on Myopia: Defend Your Childhood, we learn that Pierce Brosnan was always good looking, but never got good scripts. We watched Mrs. Doubtfire (1993), you know this is a horror movie, right?

This week on Myopia: Defend Your Childhood, we watch your favorite non-canonical Bond movie. You know, the maniac with the crazy base and the plan to destroy a major city, the British Secret Agent who had been thrown in prison, and the handsome American agent. We watched The Rock, who gets the prom queen?

We did it, finally. We got to the movie that made me realize there were bad movies in the world. I was at a sleepover in 6th grade and thought this would be scary, but not only was it not scary, I laughed at the terribleness. Strange days. Anyway, this week we watched Anaconda, which, since it had Jennifer Lopez in it, the anaconda did want some, because she has buns...hon. Unfortunately, it was stymied by a pick-axe and an Ice Cube.

Man, this movie seems more recent, but after the disappointing Quantum of Solace, Skyfall returned Bond with gusto. Adele sings a brassy ballad and the audience swooned. Also, a good flick.
